Company culture has changed significantly since the start of the pandemic. I share my thoughts to help employers understand their employees and why "The Great Resignation" is very much within their control.

TRANSCRIPT

The primary question has been amid culture, has been around scheduling, has been around that they (employees) have gotten used to not only doing their job but doing it in a different manner. It no longer has to be done 9-5 or 8-4:30, whatever the standard schedule is. But they're doing their job at different times throughout the day so they can find that balance with their families. Because of all the losses that many of us felt during the pandemic, the value of family, the value of flexibility and versatility, and actually being in the moment is greater than what I've seen in a generation. So, if there's any plus side, it's probably that.

Now, it is in the best interest of companies, and leaders within those companies, to listen to their employees, demonstrate a higher level of trust and flexibility, and give them the opportunity to excel. You know, with less restraints or less traditional hours and onsite time that is required...

So, if anything, when I think about "The Great Resignation," I think it is very much within the control of employers.
